Drawing Design Service
Here we take your ideas and make them into reality. With an initial sketch design concept proposal, this is for you to agree or amend.
On the finalisation of the design, scale drawings showing floor plans and elevations are prepared to form part of your planning application.
Planning Application Services
Here we prepare all the necessary drawings/documents, including floor plans, elevations, site plan, location plan, street view (where applicable), design and access statement, heritage statement (where applicable), in addition we complete the necessary application forms and submit a full planning application to the local authority.
We answer any queries the planning officer has and provide any further documentation where necessary.
Building Regulations
On receipt of your planning approval, it is required to obtain building regulation approval for the
works. This can be done in two ways
Building notice - for small works. No further drawings required a simple application form submitted to the local authority and you are ready to go
Full plans application - for larger projects we provide preparation of detailed construction drawings and structural calculations also submitted to the local authority on your behalf.
Where necessary All correspondence with the building control department is carried out to achieve compliance.
Project Management
This is a bespoke service to meet your individual needs where you have a selected builder or subcontractors, to undertake the work, but requires an independent manager to organise and tie everything together.
Full Build Service
As it says everything is taken care of from inception to completion. Working from your approved architect's drawings, and using the APS Designs workforce, to ensure a high quality finish,and compliance with all current legislation.
